A Little About The Lions Club.
The Lions Club was founded June 7,1917 in Chicago Illinois by Melvin Jones. The object of the club was to help with blindness, eye care, guide dogs, blind camp, and Braille writers just to name a few. The "Focus On Sight" crusade began when Helen Keller challenged the Lions Club to become her "Knights of the Blind Against Darknes".
